A two-week medical mission organized by the Trinbago Progressive Association (TPA) of the USA, Inc. and Action Performance Commitment Services Inc. (APC) concluded on May 27th, bringing essential healthcare services to communities across Trinidad and Tobago.

The mission, which took place from May 13th to 27th, provided free health clinics offering a wide range of services including dental cleanings, extractions, fillings, blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, and mental health counselling. These services were aimed at addressing the needs of underserved populations and ensuring everyone has access to quality healthcare.

A highlight of the mission was the free health clinic held at the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) in collaboration with the South Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the Community Hospital. The clinic saw a significant turnout, reflecting the community's appreciation for the initiative.

The volunteer team comprised a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including dentists, dental assistants, podiatrists, naturopaths, surgeons, nurses, psychologists, and social workers. They provided services in Tobago from May 13th to 18th and in Trinidad from May 20th to 25th. A special medical symposium was also held on May 25th at the USC, providing a platform for knowledge sharing among local healthcare professionals.

Founded in 1989, the TPA is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Trinidad and Tobago through health, education, and social development initiatives. This medical mission exemplifies their commitment to collaborative efforts and increasing access to shared resources. Hundreds of people benefitted from the free dental services provided by the team, including cleanings, extractions, and children's dentistry. Additionally, counselling staff were available to offer support to those in need.

This successful medical mission served a critical role in providing essential healthcare services to the people of Trinidad and Tobago. The vision of Trinbago Progressive Association was founded in 1989 and has been dedicated to improving the quality of life through health, education, and social development. The TPA's dedication to improving the lives of those in need is truly commendable.
