The YUTCAH 2024 Experience. Something to Remember

The University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) campus was recently transformed into a vibrant hub of youth energy and spiritual growth as it hosted the YUTCAH program, a ten-day event organized by the Caribbean Union Conference. The program concluded on Sabbath, July 20th with a grand convention, YUTCAH 2024 left an indelible mark on the hearts of over 800 participants, comprising youth, families, conference leaders, and support staff.

Kicking off with a colourful parade of nations on July 11th, 2024, the program immersed attendees in a ten-day extravaganza of faith, fellowship, and fun. The typically serene USC campus was alive with activity as participants made themselves home in the dormitories and explored the beautiful grounds.

The SCC media team captured the enthusiasm of participants, who lauded the program's exceptional support structure. A particular highlight was the first Sabbath community outreach, a truly inspiring sight as over eight large buses ferried participants to engage with the community. The Film Festival Final and the Country Tour and Hike were also standout events.

The success of YUTCAH 2024 is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the USC and the South Caribbean Conference (SCC) and all the conferences and missions within the Caribbean Union. Even after the closing ceremony, the dedication of the Youth Director, Pastor Wayne Jeffrey, and his team was evident as they continued to assist participants and even hosted guests unable to travel, to the SCC's Pathfinder Conference the following weekend. The event's captivating theme song was the original composition of Trinidad's very own rising star, B'jorn Pierre.
