The Music Department of the Conference continued its tradition of musical worship with its third Hymn Fest, held at the Sangre Grande Adventist Church on April 19, 2025. With the theme “Hope in Hymns,” the event invited attendees to find strength and encouragement through the timeless messages of sacred music.
The over three-hour program commenced with a welcome from Music Director Sis Deborah Fereirra, setting the stage for an afternoon of uplifting praise and reflection. Featured in the lineup were several music groups from across the Conference, each bringing unique interpretations of beloved hymns that resonated with the congregation. Building on the legacy of previous Hymn Fests, hosted at the University of the Southern Caribbean and Marabella Adventist Church, the event reaffirmed the vital role of hymns in our spiritual life.
The Music Department encourages everyone to relive this experience by viewing the full program on the SCC YouTube channel. As the program drew to a close, a final message of hope rang out, reminding attendees of the power of hymns to lift hearts above the burdens of sin. The evening left worshippers renewed, inspired, and eager to continue praising in song.
