Caribbean Union Conference Launches Centennial Celebration

The Caribbean Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (CARU) has officially launched its Centennial Celebration, marking a historic 100 years of service, faith, and impact across the Caribbean. The commemorative opening ceremony honoured the Union’s legacy of spiritual growth, vibrant community outreach, and institutional development that have shaped lives and communities since 1925.

The event featured a blend of formal greetings,  prayers, and a symbolic torch-passing, while reaffirming CARU’s enduring mission. Reflections on the Union’s journey over the past century highlighted not only the milestones reached but also the vision guiding its future. Administrators, departmental directors, and leaders from member fields gathered in unity to affirm their collective commitment to advancing the gospel, fostering holistic development, and serving the Caribbean people through dynamic ministries.

This ceremonial launch sets the tone for a full year of centennial-themed activities, including community outreach projects, health expos, youth-led initiatives, historical exhibitions, and special recognition services. Members and well-wishers are encouraged to stay engaged through local events and digital platforms as the celebration unfolds.
