In a continued effort to equip lay members with innovative tools for digital outreach, the Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries of the Inter-American Division (ASI-IAD), in collaboration with Adventist World Radio (AWR), hosted a Cell Phone Evangelism Training Workshop for the English-speaking region. The virtual event, featuring Eduardo Canales of AWR, took place via Zoom on April 20, 2025.

This workshop is part of a broader initiative by AWR to empower individuals to share messages of hope using everyday technology. The training introduced participants to practical strategies for using mobile devices to conduct Bible studies, share spiritual content, and engage in meaningful follow-up with contacts. AWR’s online resources include video tutorials, PowerPoint presentations, and downloadable eBooks designed to make digital witnessing accessible and effective.

Participants were encouraged to register and explore tools such as WhatsApp-based outreach, short-form video sharing, and personalised messaging techniques. The workshop also emphasised the importance of contextualised content for youth and diverse audiences, aligning with AWR’s global mission to reach the unreached through technology.

Adventist World Radio (AWR) is the global radio ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, dedicated to sharing the message of hope and salvation through Christ to people around the world, especially in regions difficult to reach by traditional means.
