A Day of Inspiration and Unity at the SCC Women's Ministries Event

On June 9th, 2023, the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) campus was abuzz with energy and anticipation as the South Caribbean Conference Women's Ministries event took center stage. Women across the Conference flocked to this all-day gathering, driven by a shared desire to be empowered, uplifted, and inspired. The event, which drew inspiration from the theme "What's in your Pot" promised a transformative experience for all in attendance.

The event opened with a warm and heartfelt welcome, setting the tone for a day of celebration and unity. The organizers crafted an environment that honoured the strength, resilience, and achievements of women, reminding everyone present of the tremendous impact they make in their families, churches, and communities.

The highlight of the morning session was undoubtedly the impressive lineup of cooks with their varied pots who graced the stage decked as home cooks. Each participant brought a unique but memorable perspective to the theme of being ready to be used by God while sharing themes of triumph, faith, and empowerment.

Throughout the morning session, the USC venue reverberated with harmonious melodies and heartfelt worship as women came together in faith and unity. The worship sessions, led by a talented ensemble of musicians and vocalists, evoked a profound sense of spiritual renewal and connectedness. The singing of "All my life you have been faithful" expressed deep and meaningful praise more than just voices.

We encourage readers to review the video and enjoy the Divine Hour speakers. The event underscored the immense potential within each woman, encouraging them to embrace their God-given purpose and make a positive impact in their spheres of influence.

This Women's Ministries Conference left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of all who attended. As one of the few males in attendance, I concur with SCC President Ps. Leslie Moses shared that "he was greatly inspired". So was I. Indeed the women left the event feeling inspired, empowered, and ready to embark on new journeys of personal and spiritual growth.
